What is car hauling software?
Car hauling software, also called car hauler software, auto transport software or a car hauler TMS, is the system a vehicle transport business runs on. It replaces the load board tab, the paper BOL, the spreadsheet and the invoice template with one record per load. What it does:
- Load board. Where brokers and shippers post vehicles to move and carriers book them. Car hauling load boards compared.
- Load economics. What a load leaves after fuel, the empty miles to the pickup, tolls, the driver's pay and factoring. What a car haul load actually nets.
- Dispatch (the TMS). Each load assigned to a driver and a truck and followed from pickup to delivery.
- Driver app. Inspection photos at pickup and delivery, the electronic bill of lading (eBOL) and the receiver's signature as proof of delivery (ePOD). What a car hauler's BOL must show.
- Tracking. Where each truck is and where each load stands, for the office and for the broker.
- Invoicing. The broker's invoice from the delivered load, payment reminders and what is still owed. How car haulers get paid.
- Driver pay. Settlements by percent, per mile, per day or flat rate, from the same loads.
- Documents. The CDL, medical card, insurance and registrations on file, with their expiry dates.
Types of car hauling software
The same words are used for four different products. Know which one you are buying.
- Carrier TMS (transportation management system). The carrier's dispatch record: loads, drivers, trucks, paperwork, invoices and driver pay. This is what most carriers mean by car hauling software.
- Load board or marketplace. Where brokers and shippers post vehicles and carriers book them. Some boards stand alone; on loadez the board and the TMS are one system.
- Driver app (eBOL and ePOD). The phone side of the job: inspection photos, the electronic bill of lading and the signature at delivery.
- Broker and shipper software. For the side that gives the load away: posting vehicles, choosing a carrier and following the load, and for brokers a CRM for leads and customer quotes. A carrier does not need a CRM. loadez for auto transport brokers.

1. loadez: car hauling software that shows what each load nets
loadez is AI dispatch software for US car haulers, auto transport carriers and the dispatchers who run them. One system covers every part above, on its own load board.
- Its own load board, in every plan. Brokers and shippers post free, and anyone can open the live board without an account. The loadez load board.
- Net profit on every load before you claim it. From Growth, each load carries a score out of 100 and an estimated net for your truck and driver: the rate minus fuel at the current regional price, deadhead from where your truck is now, tolls, your driver's pay and factoring.
- Autopilot (Pro). It checks every new load against your floor rate, lanes, vehicle type, pickup window and minimum score every minute and sends the claim when one fits. Anything over your ask-me limit waits for your OK, and every request is logged.
- One record per load. The load you claim is the load the driver sees, the load the broker is invoiced for and the load the driver is paid on.
- The driver side on any phone, in every plan. Inspection photos at pickup and delivery, the BOL and the receiver's signature, working offline. Drivers open it in the phone browser on any iPhone or Android phone, with nothing to install. The car hauler app.
- Tracking. Live tracking on a map from Growth. Brokers and shippers follow each load's progress and documents free.
- Invoicing and driver pay. Invoices, payment reminders and receivables from Starter. Driver pay and payroll from Growth: percent of gross, percent of net, per mile, per day or flat.
- Dispatch agencies. One login across several carriers, with separate rules, documents and books for each. For car hauling dispatchers.
- Price. Free for one driver, forever. Starter $39 a month for up to 3 drivers. Growth $49 and Pro $59 per driver a month, from 5 driver seats. Car hauling software by size of operation
- Owner-operator, one truck. You are the dispatcher, the driver and the office. You need the board, the BOL on your phone and nothing to pay while you start. loadez Free covers one driver with no time limit: the load board, dispatch, the driver app and compliance files. Car hauling owner-operator.
- Hotshot, a pickup and a wedge trailer. Two or three cars a load leave little room for a bad lane, so what the load nets matters more than the rate. Hotshot car hauling.
- Two or three trucks. Now loads are assigned to drivers, brokers are invoiced and someone chases the payments. loadez Starter is $39 a month for the whole company, up to 3 drivers, with invoicing, receivables and team invites.
- A fleet. The question becomes which load to give which truck. Growth, $49 per driver a month from 5 driver seats, scores every load, names the best-fit driver with the net for that truck, tracks every truck on a map and runs driver pay. Pro, $59, adds Autopilot and fleet-wide ranking. Office seats are free on both.
- Dispatchers and dispatch agencies. One login across several carriers, each with its own rules, documents and books; the carrier decides what the agency sees. Load board for car hauling dispatchers.
- Brokers and shippers. Posting loads on loadez is free, and so are each load's progress, documents and invoices. For auto transport brokers.
How to choose car hauling software
- Is it built for vehicles? Car hauling software works in VINs, the number of cars, operable or not, open or enclosed, and its paperwork is a BOL with an inspection at pickup and delivery. General trucking software works in weight and trailer type.
- Does it tell you what a load leaves you? The posted rate is not the money. Fuel, empty miles to the pickup, tolls, the driver's pay and the payment terms come off first; software that does that arithmetic for your truck saves the calculator on every load. Run it on one load.
- Does the load board come with it? When the board and the dispatch record are one system, the load you book is already the load the driver sees and the load you invoice. Nothing is typed twice.
- Who counts as a paid seat? Some software charges for every user, so each dispatcher adds to the bill; some charges by the load. loadez charges only for drivers. Price it for the trucks and office you will have next year, not this month.
- What does the driver have to install? A driver who starts tomorrow needs the BOL and the camera on the phone already in the pocket. On loadez the driver side opens in the phone browser.
- Can you see the price before a sales call? A published price lets you compare software in an afternoon. loadez pricing is public, and the free plan needs no card.
- Can you try it on your own loads? The loadez board is open without an account, and a new company gets its first 14 days with every feature open.

Common questions
What is car hauling software?
Car hauling software is the system an auto transport carrier uses to find and book loads, dispatch drivers, collect inspection photos and a signed bill of lading at pickup and delivery, track each load, invoice the broker and pay the driver. It is also called car hauler software, auto transport software or a car hauler TMS. loadez is car hauling software with its own load board that, from its Growth plan, shows the estimated net profit of every load before it is claimed.
What software do car haulers use?
Car haulers use a load board to find loads, a TMS to dispatch them, a driver app for inspection photos and the electronic BOL, and invoicing and driver pay tools, either as separate products or in one system. The platforms US car haulers use in 2026 include loadez, Super Dispatch, Ship.Cars, CarShipIO, Haulk, GoPhore and CargoTel.
What is the best car hauling software for a small carrier or owner-operator?
One built for car hauling, with a published price for a small fleet, that shows what each load leaves after fuel, deadhead, tolls and driver pay. loadez is free for one driver with no time limit and $39 a month for up to three drivers, its load board is included, and it charges only for drivers: dispatchers, the accountant and the owner are free seats.
Is there free car hauling software?
Yes. loadez is free for one driver, forever: its load board, dispatch, the driver app with inspection photos, BOL and e-signature, paperwork review, compliance files and an FMCSA check on carriers. A new company also gets its first 14 days with every plan feature open, no card needed.
How much does car hauling software cost?
From $0 to a few hundred dollars a month for a small fleet, by the prices the companies publish (October 2026): loadez $0 for one driver, $39 a month for up to three drivers, and $49 or $59 per driver a month from five driver seats; Super Dispatch Carrier TMS Pro $55 a month for the first seat and $50 for each added seat; Ship.Cars $39 a month or $49 a month per driver; CarShipIO $39 to $159 a month by number of trucks; Haulk $25 per driver a month. GoPhore and CargoTel do not publish a price.
What is a car hauler TMS?
A TMS is a transportation management system. For a car hauler it is the dispatch record: each load with its vehicles and VINs, the driver and truck assigned, the inspection photos and BOL, the invoice and the driver's pay. loadez is a TMS for car haulers and auto transport carriers with its own load board, AI load scoring with net profit, live tracking, invoicing and driver pay in one system.
What is the difference between a TMS and a load board?
A load board is where loads are found: brokers and shippers post vehicles and carriers book them. A TMS is where a booked load is run: assigned to a driver, documented, invoiced and paid. loadez is both in one system, so a load claimed on its board is already a dispatch record.
What is an eBOL?
An eBOL is an electronic bill of lading: the pickup and delivery record of each vehicle, with inspection photos and the signatures of the shipper and the receiver, completed on the driver's phone instead of on paper. On loadez the BOL, inspection photos and e-signature are in every plan, Free included, and reach the broker when they are uploaded.
Is car hauling software different from trucking software?
Yes. General trucking software works in weight, pallets and trailer types. Car hauling software works in vehicles: VINs, how many cars, whether they run, open or enclosed trailers, and a bill of lading with an inspection of every car at pickup and delivery.
Does car hauling software include a load board?
Some does. loadez runs its own load board, separate from every other board and included in every plan: brokers and shippers post loads free, and anyone can open the live board without an account.
Is there car hauling software with AI?
Yes. loadez is AI dispatch software built for US car haulers: from the Growth plan every load gets an AI score and an estimated net profit for your truck and driver before you claim it, and on Pro, Autopilot claims loads automatically inside the rules you write.
Do drivers need to install an app?
On loadez, no. Drivers open app.loadez.ai in the phone browser on any iPhone or Android phone, with nothing to install, and take inspection photos, complete the BOL and collect the signature there, including offline.
Can a dispatcher or dispatch agency use it for several carriers?
Yes. On loadez a dispatch agency works from one login across several carriers, with separate rules, documents and books for each carrier, and the carrier controls what the agency can see.
Car hauling software that shows what every load pays you.
Free for one truck, forever. Its own load board, where brokers and shippers post free. Net profit on every load from Growth.
