How these numbers are counted. From every car hauling load that reached the Loadez load board in the 30 days to 4 November 2026, 00:20 UTC (5 October – 4 November 2026). Rate per mile is the posted price of the whole load divided by its route miles, pickup to delivery; per car is that price divided by the cars on the load. A load posted twice is counted once. Loads without a price or route miles, and placeholder prices, count as loads but not in the rates. Medians, not averages, so one odd posting does not move them; the middle half is the range between the 25th and 75th percentile. These are posted rates, before fuel, empty miles and driver pay. Updated every 6 hours.
